  • Advertising must make an impression on its audience, in seconds you need to ingrain a products ‘catchphrase’ in order to grab attention.

  1. What is a catchphrase? Write up a definition.
  2. Find four examples.

Persuasive Language

  • Words or phrases that trigger an emotional response. It’s purpose is to change attitudes of the audience.
  • It is used to incite a positive response, in order to show the product or service will benefit us. This persuades us to buy it!
